"Terrific Kids"
Each year the Noon Optimist Club of Rome honors elementary kids from all Floyd County schools. It is called the “Terrific Kid” program. The program is for students who have displayed optimistic personalities with their teachers and their fellow students.
Last Monday night, the Noon Optimist Club held their annual banquet at The Forum in Rome to honor two students chosen from each school in Floyd County. Unity Christian School’s “Terrific Kids” were 5th grader Mary Nance and 4th grader Hannah Lord.
All of the students chosen from Floyd County schools are honored for their diligence at working hard and helping those around them.
We are all proud that two of our students were chosen. This gives us a chance to show the rest of Floyd County the caliber of Unity Christian School’s students.
