Unity admits students in 3-year-old Preschool – 12th grade.

All students enrolled in Unity's 3-year-old Preschool program must be potty-trained and at least three years old on or before August 31st of the school year that they are to be enrolled. 

Parents of children born in the summer may elect to either repeat a preschool or Kindergarten year, delay entry for a year, or enter one grade level earlier in order to give their child more time for development and maturity. Unity does not require this but works with the parents to place the child for success.

Though Unity students wear uniforms, visitors and student applicants are not expected to be in uniform. Modest, casual clothing is appropriate.

The purpose of the student interview is to become better acquainted with the student. Therefore, we need the student to be honest and real. Knowing that nervousness/anxiousness is normal for any interview, administration will try to put the student at ease.

Yes. At the high school level, special attention needs to be placed on transferring credits and curricular paths to ensure for timely graduation. Therefore, a high school transcript and current report card need to be submitted during the inquiry process. Younger grade levels are easier to transition.

Yes, Unity students adhere to a casual uniform code consisting of a P.E. uniform, Regular uniform (polo & khaki/navy bottoms), and Spirit Wear. More information may be obtained from the Admissions office or go to or

The school opens at 7:30 a.m. Students need to be in their homeroom by 7:50 a.m. On Wednesdays, school begins 1 hour later allowing our faculty & staff weekly development/training. Before School Care is provided on Wednesdays free of charge from 7:30 to 8:50 a.m.

The school day ends for Middle School and High School students at 3:00 and Preschool (full day) and Elementary at 3:20. Preschool half day students finish at 12:30.

Aftercare is available until 6:00pm. The cost is $4.00 if picked up before 5:00pm and $8.00 if picked up after 5:00pm.

At our current location, transportation is provided by parent carpool. Unity also operates a bus service to Cedartown and Rockmart. Field trip transportation is offered by our school buses.

Yes, our list of AP courses continues to grow. Currently, we offer AP U.S. History, AP English Literature and Composition, AP Language and Composition, AP Calculus and AP Biology.

Yes, Unity offers three different types of tuition assistance programs; R.O. Stone Memorial Fund, GOAL Scholarship, and the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship. We also offer a variety of scholarships. Unity Christian School was created as a non-denominational school believing that the body of believers could work united beyond denominational differences to educate the next generation. Parents have the opportunity to opt out during the month of January to avoid re-enrollment fees. Families who opt out between February 1 and June 1 will not receive a refund of their enrollment fee. Families who opt out after June 1 will be assessed the full year's tuition unless they meet the stipulations in the enrollment contract copied below.

UCS relies on tuition and charitable contributions to continue its mission. I understand the privilege of placing my Student(s) in UCS and am committed to pay unconditionally the above fees and tuition as stated.  I will pay tuition according to the FACTS payment plan chosen unless it is paid in advance. I further understand that the school strictly enforces the tuition policies as written in the Parent/Student Handbook, and that an unpaid balance of 60 days will result in my Student(s) being withdrawn from school.  I further understand that when my Student enrolls at UCS, the school reserves a place for my Student for the entire year. The school makes an annual commitment to provide school resources, including, but not limited to, teacher salaries and textbooks, therefore the school relies on a financial commitment from families for the entire year. The undersigned agrees that in the event that the above-named Student(s) is/are dismissed or expelled during the school year or voluntarily withdraw(s) from UCS after June 1, 2019, for any reason other than severe illness, relocation over 50 miles, death, or other catastrophic circumstance, the full year's tuition is due and payable by the undersigned to UCS. UCS reserves the right to release records only when a family's financial obligations are current.
