Tuition (not including technology or graduation fees) paid in full before July 1st will receive a 3% discount.
Additional expenses include lunches, after school care, uniforms, and field trips.
Registration, technology, and graduation fees are non-refundable.
Students will not be allowed to attend class until registration fees are paid in full.

After a student has been approved and scheduled for an ARC program, the cost of the program will be added to the student’s tuition and distributed according to the desired payment plan.


Financial Aid

Financial aid is available at Unity Christian School for Kindergarten through 12th grades. You must have a completed application for admission on file to be considered for financial aid or scholarships. The deadline to complete the financial aid application is March 1st. Complete the financial aid application by visiting the FACTS website at There is a $45 processing fee to cover the cost of the assessment.  All requested forms must be submitted to FACTS, including income tax return, W2 forms, etc., before an application will be considered. Families must re-apply for financial aid each year. 


Tuition Assistance Programs and Scholarships

Tuition Assistance Programs

The Gift of Unity Fund- Unity funds this aid through annual fund donations. All new and existing families in grades Kindergarten-12 are eligible. The Gift of Unity  encompasses the R.O. Stone Memorial Scholarship, and is based on financial need. 

GOAL Scholarship Program- GOAL is funded by taxpayers redirecting a portion of their Georgia income tax to provide a scholarship to eligible students. New students who are entering Kindergarten, first grade, or transferring directly from public school are eligible. GOAL is based on financial need. 

Georgia Special Needs Scholarship- Students with a current IEP transferring directly from public school are eligible. State of Georgia determines award amount. Parents may determine their student's eligibility and award amount by visiting the Georgia Department of Education website at


Unity Scholarships

Scholarships require an additional application in addition to the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment application. Please contact the finance office to obtain a scholarship application. All scholarships are awarded for one school year, with eligibility to re-apply each year. Scholarships are awarded to students in grades Kindergarten through 12th.

Founders Scholarship- The Founders Scholarship is available to dependents of ordained ministers in full-time Christian or church ministry. The scholarship is equal to 25% of tuition.

James 1:27 Scholarship- The James 1:27 Scholarship is available to the dependents of widowed mothers with a household income of $50,000 or less. This scholarship awards $4,000 per year applied to tuition.

Alumni Scholarship- The Alumni Scholarship is funded by Unity seniors and alumni and is available to 8th-11th grade students. One scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $1,000.

Opportunity Scholarship- The Opportunity Scholarship is available to the dependents of minority families who demonstrate financial need and a desire to succeed. Scholarships are based on funds available.


Unity Discounts

Discounts do not require an application. All discounts, except Multi Child, are awarded to students in grades Kindergarten through 12th.

Legacy of Honor- The Legacy of Honor discount is available to the dependents of military veterans or active military personnel. $500 off 2019-2020 tuition. Must show proof of service.

First Responder- The First Responder discount is available to all active Police, Fire, and EMT First Responders. $500 off 2019-2020 tuition. Must show proof of employment.

New Residents- This one-time discount is awarded to families relocating to Floyd County from 50+ miles. The family will receive $1,000 off 2019-2020 tuition. Must show proof of prior residence.

Family Referral- Current UCS family receives a $1,000 discount for each new family enrolled by their referral. The current UCS family's name must be written on admissions application.

Multi-Child- This discount is for families with multiple children that attend Unity for the 2019-2020 school year. Families will receive 5% off the 2nd child’s tuition, 15% off the 3rd child’s tuition and 25% off the 4th child’s tuition. Children must be biological or legally adopted. Cannot be combined with need-based financial aid. The discount best for the family will be awarded.

4th - 8th Grade Incentive - Partnering with families in shaping the hearts of their children is at the core of Unity's mission, and no one can tell the Unity story better than those who experience it every day. We want to help you share the gift of Unity with your friends while increasing our enrollment in grades that have room for growth. Enrollment growth not only leads to more opportunities for your children, but also leads to a greater Kingdom effectiveness for our school. For the 2019-2020 school year, current families will receive an additional $1,000 discount when a new 4th-8th grader enrolls as a result of their referral. The current UCS family’s name must be written on the admissions application. The newly enrolled family will also receive $1,000 off their tuition for their 4th-8th grade student for the 2019-2020 school year.
